Gurmeet Singh Jolly, most famously known as Shera, the bodyguard to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, is mourning the loss of his father, Sunder Singh Jolly, who passed away on Wednesday at the age of 88. Sunder Singh Jolly had been battling cancer for some time. The news has prompted an outpouring of condolences from the film industry and fans, many of whom admire Shera's unwavering loyalty and service to Salman Khan.

Shera announced his father's passing in an official statement, sharing details about the funeral arrangements. "My father, Shri Sundar Singh Jolly, passed away today," he wrote. "His final journey will commence at 4 pm from my residence: 1902, The Park Luxury Residence, near Lokhandwala Back Road, Oshiwara, Andheri West, Mumbai". The cremation will be held at the Oshiwara Crematorium in Mumbai. Close friends, family members, and well-wishers are expected to attend the final rites.

Shera's bond with his father was evident in a heartfelt birthday post he shared earlier this year. On his father's 88th birthday, Shera called him his "God, my father, my inspiration!". He further added, "Every bit of strength in me comes from you. Love you dad always!". The post was accompanied by pictures of Jolly and the family.

Shera has been Salman Khan's bodyguard for nearly three decades and is a key figure in the actor's inner circle. Shera also heads Tiger Security, a high-profile security agency that has provided security for numerous Bollywood celebrities, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Katrina Kaif, and international stars like Justin Bieber and Mike Tyson during their visits to India.

The news of Sunder Singh Jolly's passing has deeply saddened those connected to Shera and Salman Khan. Condolences have been pouring in from members of the film industry and fans, offering support to the grieving family. Fans and well-wishers are standing in solidarity with Shera during this personal loss, honoring Sunder Singh Jolly's memory and the values of strength and dedication he passed on to his son.
