Karan Veer Mehra, after clinching the Bigg Boss 18 trophy, is setting his sights on a diverse and exciting future in the entertainment industry. The actor, who has been a part of the television world for nearly two decades, feels like he has "suddenly arrived" after winning both Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 and Bigg Boss 18 back-to-back. Overwhelmed with gratitude, Karan is strategically planning his next moves, aiming to "rediscover the actor" within himself.

Mehra is not limiting himself to any particular medium. Instead, he is looking for opportunities to collaborate with good storytellers and be part of meaningful projects. "I am not taking a break from any medium," he stated, emphasizing his passion as a performer and entertainer. He recognizes the transient nature of fame and is focused on his goals, aware that public attention will eventually shift with the arrival of a new Bigg Boss season.

Since his Bigg Boss 18 win in January 2025, Mehra has been flooded with offers. While he remains tight-lipped about specific details, he assures his fans that his next step will be "something big," urging them to "wait and watch". Mehra is determined to surprise his audience and showcase his versatility as an actor.

One notable development in Mehra's career post-Bigg Boss is his role in an upcoming romantic action drama directed by Omung Kumar. The film, which is yet to be titled, also stars Harshvardhan Rane, Sadia Khateeb, and Ipsitaa. Mehra expressed his excitement about the project, stating that it is unlike anything he has done before. He was drawn to the film's amazing cast, soulful music, and strong studio backing. The film commenced production on July 1, 2025.

Mehra's journey hasn't been without its challenges. He was diagnosed with dyslexia, which made academics a struggle during his school years. However, with his mother's support, he overcame these challenges and discovered his passion for acting. He attended Delhi Public School and pursued Advertising and Sales Promotion from Delhi College of Arts and Commerce. He also honed his acting skills at the Barry John Acting Studio.

Inside the Bigg Boss 18 house, Mehra's connection with fellow contestant Chum Darang became a major talking point. The actor has expressed his feelings for Darang and hopes to take their relationship forward with her consent. He revealed that he plans to propose to her, marking a potentially romantic culmination to his Bigg Boss journey. When asked if he is ever going to propose to Chum, Karan responded, "Yeah, Chum told me to win the trophy first and then ask her (proposal). Now that the trophy is home, once we step out of here, we'll see how things progress". He has stated that the future of their relationship is in Chum's hands.

Mehra has also addressed allegations of media manipulation during his time on Bigg Boss. He dismissed these rumors as "rubbish," stating that he doesn't have that kind of money and that his success is owed to the viewers. He also reacted to criticism and rumors circulating about him, encouraging people to stop spreading false narratives. Mehra has acknowledged that he is a "thick-skinned" person and that he is not affected by what people say about him, as long as they are talking about him.

With a renewed sense of purpose and a desire to explore diverse roles, Karan Veer Mehra is poised to make a significant impact in the entertainment industry. He is eager to showcase his talent across various mediums and connect with audiences on a deeper level.
