Alia Bhatt's Hilarious War 2 Screening Moment: The Case of the Missing Sunglasses (They Were On Her Head!)

The special screening of "War 2" on Wednesday night was a star-studded affair, drawing in a host of Bollywood celebrities. Among the attendees were Hrithik Roshan, accompanied by his girlfriend Saba Azad, as well as the power couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. Tiger Shroff, Anil Kapoor, and director Ayan Mukerji also graced the event, showing their support for the highly anticipated film.

However, it seems Alia Bhatt had a bit of a relatable "oops" moment that has since tickled the internet. Several reports indicate that Alia was spotted seemingly searching for her sunglasses at the screening. The humorous part? The sunglasses were, in fact, already on her head! This amusing incident quickly caught the attention of fans and media outlets, who found the situation quite funny.

"War 2," directed by Ayan Mukerji, is already creating waves as the sixth installment in Yash Raj Films' (YRF) spy universe. Following the success of "War" (2019), expectations are high for this action thriller starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani in leading roles. The film promises a blend of action, espionage, and drama.

The movie has already faced some hurdles. Reportedly, 28 scenes were trimmed from "War 2", reducing the runtime by 6 minutes and 25 seconds. These edits included shortening a chase sequence by 16 seconds and an action scene by 24 seconds, with the most significant cut being a 1 minute 19 second dialogue. The CBFC also requested changes, muting "inappropriate references" and toning down a conversation.

Despite the edits, "War 2" is set to clash with Rajinikanth's "Coolie" at the box office, making it one of the biggest Indian cinema clashes in recent years. Early reviews have been mixed, with some praising it as a top-notch action film while others find it underwhelming.

Alia Bhatt is also part of the YRF spy universe and will appear in the upcoming film "Alpha". A post-credit scene in "War 2" reportedly reveals Bobby Deol's look from "Alpha", where he is seen tattooing the agency's logo on a young girl, presumably Alia's character. Besides "Alpha", Alia is also slated to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Love and War" alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.

Meanwhile, the "War 2" screening saw Hrithik Roshan calling Rajinikanth his "first teacher" ahead of the film's release. Both Hrithik and Jr NTR have urged audiences to avoid spoilers in order to fully enjoy the film.
