Naga Chaitanya, son of Telugu cinema legend Nagarjuna, was spotted at a Hyderabad theatre on Thursday evening, August 14, 2025, catching a show of the new film Coolie. The film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring Rajinikanth, features Nagarjuna in his debut antagonistic role.
Sporting a casual shirt and jeans, Naga Chaitanya was seen entering Mahesh Babu's AMB Cinemas, reportedly accompanied by a friend. Before heading into the screening, the actor shared a poster of Nagarjuna from the film on his social media, expressing his support with the caption "#coolie today for my #king".
Coolie has generated considerable buzz, particularly for marking Nagarjuna's first foray into a negative character. In the film, Nagarjuna plays Simon, a businessman involved in illicit activities who controls a port. The movie explores what happens when Simon's path crosses with Deva, played by Rajinikanth.
