Grammy-nominated artist Acyuta Gopi is bringing her globally recognized devotional sound to India with her "Chal Man Vrindavan" tour, scheduled from October to December 2025. Celebrated for her soul-stirring kirtans and transcendent voice, Acyuta Gopi has performed on stages from New York to London, establishing herself as a leading global ambassador of contemporary devotional music.
Born into a Krishna-conscious family in New York, Acyuta Gopi began singing early in life, transforming her voice into a medium of devotion, unity, and healing. She has been visiting India since 2009 and feels the country has become her "home away from home". Acyuta Gopi, known for songs such as "Radhe Govinda", "Lagan Tumse Laga Baithe", and "Tu Bas Gaya Kitni Dur," has visited Jaipur, Karauli, Rishikesh, Delhi, and Vrindavan.
The "Chal Man Vrindavan" tour is more than just a musical journey; it's a spiritual offering. Each concert promises an immersive experience blending divine music, floral celebrations, and spiritual storytelling, echoing the sacred vibrance of Vrindavan itself. Acyuta Gopi aims to carry the spirit of Vrindavan—its devotion, beauty, and sanctity—into every city she visits.
The tour will span multiple cities, including Hyderabad, Jaipur, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Delhi, Indore, Ahmedabad, and Lucknow. The first concert is scheduled to be held in Hyderabad on October 4th. Tickets for "Chal Man Vrindavan" will be available exclusively on the District by Zomato app.
The tour has a philanthropic purpose: to raise funds supporting women's empowerment, education, healthcare, and cultural preservation initiatives in Vrindavan, the sacred land of Lord Krishna. Acyuta Gopi views kirtan as more than just music, describing it as "a prayer, a conversation with the Divine". Bringing this offering to India, where the tradition was born, feels like a homecoming. She emphasizes that "With Chal Man Vrindavan, we are not just performing—we are praying, serving, and bringing the soul of Vrindavan to every city we visit".
Acyuta Gopi is also the author of the award-winning book Prema Mala, a devotional poetry collection that has resonated deeply with readers worldwide. Her unique ability to weave music, literature, and spiritual wisdom has made her a cherished voice among seekers, youth, and kirtan enthusiasts across the globe.
As Acyuta Gopi reconnects with the roots of bhakti, the tour promises not just concerts but a collective journey into the essence of devotion, community, and transcendence. She hopes that everybody will get to see a glimpse of her heart and aims to bring festivals to places that might not have them, offering kirtan in a mode of service. She also wants to acknowledge the people who are serving day in and day out, who have such a love for Krishna and such a love for Bhakti.
