A video that went viral on social media depicts a man performing a dangerous stunt on a speeding motorcycle on the Bijnor National Highway in Uttar Pradesh. The clip, reportedly filmed near the Bhaansi toll plaza, shows the man standing upright on the seat of a sports bike, travelling at a high speed, without holding the handlebars.

The video captures the rider nonchalantly waving his hand while standing on the bike. Other vehicles, including a tractor-trolley, are seen passing close by. As the biker approached the toll booth, another rider can be heard urging the attendant to lift the barrier, which the worker did, and the stuntman sped away without stopping. The entire video was recorded by an accomplice riding alongside.

The stunt has been widely criticized on social media as reckless, with users pointing out that the rider endangered not only his own life but also the lives of other motorists. Reacting to the video, the Meerut Police stated they are working to identify the rider. Meerut Police have confirmed that the incident is under investigation, and the rider's identity is being verified for necessary action. The police are using CCTV footage and the viral video to identify the stunt bikers and have pledged strict action against those involved in such dangerous activities. Furthermore, police have been instructed to increase patrolling and monitoring on the highway to prevent future incidents.

Local residents have expressed concerns about such stunts becoming increasingly common on the Meerut-Bijnor Highway. They worry that these stunts not only risk the lives of the stunt performers but also pose a threat to other road users. There is also concern that school children might imitate these stunts, leading to injuries. Residents are urging the police to take immediate action to curb such activities and prevent accidents.
