The highly anticipated third season of "The Family Man," starring Manoj Bajpayee, has wrapped up shooting and is expected to be released soon. The series, created and directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, has garnered a massive fan following since its first season, which premiered on September 20, 2019.
Manoj Bajpayee will reprise his role as Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man leading a double life as an intelligence officer for the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), a fictional division of the National Investigation Agency. Season 3 will see Srikant confronting a looming threat to national security while balancing his family life and working to mend his relationship with his wife Suchitra, played by Priyamani. The official logline for the season reveals that "As Srikant races against time, the stakes escalate as he needs to outmaneuver a formidable adversary and protect his country and its sovereignty".
The series also features Sharib Hashmi, Ashlesha Thakur, and Vedant Sinha, who will be returning as key cast members. Fans can also anticipate new faces in the upcoming season.
In late 2024, pictures of Manoj Bajpayee with Shreya Dhanwanthary and Sharib Hashmi from the sets of "The Family Man 3" surfaced online. The team also visited Nagaland for shooting in September 2024. Nagaland's tourism and higher education minister, Temjen Imna Along, also met with the team.
