A member of Parliament (MP) from Manipur has filed a police complaint against a user on X (formerly Twitter) regarding a post made following an ambush on an Assam Rifles convoy. Maharaja Sanajaoba Leishemba, a BJP Rajya Sabha MP, alleged that the post was malicious and targeted him. The complaint was filed in response to the post made after the ambush, which occurred on Friday. In the ambush, two Assam Rifles soldiers were killed and five others were injured on the outskirts of Imphal. The BJP's Manipur unit has previously lodged police complaints regarding the use of abusive language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
