The Moto G06 Power has officially launched in India today, October 7, 2025, and will be available for purchase via Flipkart, Motorola India, and other major retailers starting October 11. This budget-friendly smartphone boasts a massive 7,000mAh battery and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme SoC.
Pricing and Availability
The Moto G06 Power is offered in a single memory configuration of 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It is priced at ₹7,499 and comes in three Pantone-verified color options: Tapestry, Laurel Oak, and Tendril, all featuring a vegan leather finish.
Display and Design
The phone features a large 6.88-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and a peak brightness of 600 nits. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device also sports a premium vegan leather finish on the back. It has an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Moto G06 Power is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme SoC. The phone comes with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM, which can be virtually expanded by up to 12GB using RAM Boost. The internal storage of 64GB can be further expanded via a microSD card by up to 1TB. The smartphone runs on Android 15. Motorola promises to provide two years of security updates.

The Moto G06 Power features a 50MP primary camera with Quad Pixel technology, along with an ambient light sensor and dual LED flash. On the front, there's an 8MP selfie camera. The rear camera can record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second.
Battery and Charging
The phone is equipped with a massive 7,000mAh battery, which Motorola claims can last up to 65 hours on a single charge and retain 80% of its capacity even after 1,000 charge cycles. It supports 18W fast wired charging and comes with a 20W charger in the box. Motorola claims that 15 minutes of charging can provide up to 7 hours of usage.
Other Features
Other notable features of the Moto G06 Power include stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual SIM support, Bluetooth 6.0, and Wi-Fi 5. Unlike the global variant, the Indian version does not support NFC. The phone also supports Moto Gestures, allowing users to perform actions like twisting to open the camera or using the "Chop Chop" action to turn on the flashlight. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
