Nora Fatehi has broken her silence regarding allegations linking her to a drug syndicate with connections to Dawood Ibrahim, labeling the claims as baseless and expressing her frustration at being an "easy target". The actress issued a statement addressing reports that she, along with other Bollywood personalities, were named in an investigation related to alleged drug-fueled parties.

Fatehi, in a statement released on her Instagram story, refuted any involvement with such activities. She asserted that she does not attend parties and is constantly traveling for work, maintaining a demanding schedule that leaves little room for a personal life. "I DON'T go to parties… I'm constantly on flights… I'm a workaholic, I don't have a personal life… I don't associate myself with people like that," she stated. She further added that on her days off, she prefers to spend time at home, on a beach in Dubai, or with her high school friends, emphasizing that her focus remains on her dreams and goals.

The actress expressed her dismay at her name being dragged into controversies, stating, "Don't believe anything you read! It seems like my name is an easy target, but I won't allow it this time". Fatehi alluded to a previous instance where she felt unjustly targeted and subjected to slander and reputational damage. She cautioned against using her name and image in situations that have nothing to do with her, warning that such actions would come at a "heavy, heavy price".

The allegations surfaced amidst reports of a Mumbai Police Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) investigation into a ₹252 crore drug syndicate allegedly linked to Dawood Ibrahim's associate, Salim Dola. According to reports, Salim's son, Taher Dola, who was extradited from the UAE, claimed during interrogation that several Bollywood stars, including Fatehi and Shraddha Kapoor, attended drug parties he organized in India and overseas. It was reported that Salim Dola operated the drug syndicate from Dubai, supplying Mephedrone to various Indian states and smuggling it abroad.

However, police have clarified that the veracity of these claims is still under investigation and that no one has been officially named or charged in connection with the alleged gatherings.

Nora Fatehi's strong denial and clarification reflect her determination to protect her reputation and distance herself from any association with illegal activities. She has urged the media and the public to refrain from spreading unsubstantiated rumors and involving her name in matters that are completely unrelated to her.
