Veteran actress Farida Jalal has shared her thoughts on Aryan Khan's directorial debut, the web series The Ba*ds of Bollywood. In a recent interview with Zoom, Jalal revealed that while she enjoyed the show, she believes Khan "could have done it better".

Jalal, known for her roles in iconic films such as Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, welcomed Aryan Khan into the film industry, saying, "Welcome home! Yahin ke toh hai, aur kahan jayenge? (You belong here only, where else would you go?)". She expressed her support for Khan as he embarks on his journey in showbiz.

When asked specifically about The Ba*ds of Bollywood, Jalal responded, "I did. Theek tha, it was okay. He could have done it better, but accha toh tha (but it was good)". Despite suggesting room for improvement, her overall sentiment was positive.

The Ba*ds of Bollywood, a satirical comedy, premiered on Netflix on September 18, 2025. The series features Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Sahher Bambba, and Bobby Deol in leading roles.
