Vij explained in her post that Tara had first expressed her desire for the car when she was just four years old. At the time, Vij felt she couldn't afford it and questioned whether it was wise to give such an expensive gift to a child. However, years later, being in a position to fulfill that wish, she realized it wasn't about luxury but about honoring a childhood dream and creating a lasting memory. She emphasized that the gesture was about telling her daughter, "Your dreams matter. And if I can, I will make them come true". The video captures Tara's joy upon seeing the car, while Vij looks visibly emotional.
This loving gesture comes at a time of significant personal change for Vij. Earlier this year, she and actor Jay Bhanushali announced their separation after over a decade of marriage. The couple, who share three children, including Tara and their adopted kids Khushi and Rajveer, stated that the separation was mutual and that they would continue to co-parent with respect.

In November 2025, amidst divorce rumors, Vij addressed the speculation with composure, urging people not to believe baseless reports and affirming that "Jay is my family and will always be my family.
