The commission also determined that the club's failure to submit its annual accounts to the Premier League by the deadline constituted a rule breach and dismissed the club's claim of exceptional cooperation throughout the proceedings.

Despite these findings, the commission acknowledged Leicester City's improving financial situation as a mitigating factor. The EFL Board has ratified the commission's recommendation for an immediate points deduction, in accordance with EFL regulations, as Leicester City is currently a Championship club.
