Six years after its release, the romantic action thriller Malang is still making waves, with veteran actor Anil Kapoor expressing his gratitude and reminiscing about the film's impact. Kapoor took to social media on Friday, February 7, 2026, to celebrate the film's sixth anniversary, acknowledging the enduring love and memories associated with the project.

In a heartfelt Instagram story, Kapoor shared photographs of himself as Inspector Anjaney Agashe, his character in Malang, and expressed his appreciation for the film. "6 years later and Malang still has that kick! Grateful for all the love, madness and memories," he wrote. He also tagged the entire team of Malang, including his co-stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani, and Kunal Kemmu, as well as director Mohit Suri and producers Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Luv Ranjan, Ankur Garg, Jay Shewakramani, and Ramana Rudrapati.

Malang, which was released in 2020, featured Aditya Roy Kapur as Advait Thakur, Disha Patani as Sara Nambiar, and Kunal Kemmu as Michael Rodrigues, alongside Kapoor. The film revolves around Advait and Sara, who meet and fall in love in Goa.
