An encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in the Gudar forest area of Kulgam district in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, September 8, 2025. The operation, involving the SOG of J&K Police, the Army, and the CRPF, was launched based on specific intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists in the area.
During the initial search operation, terrorists opened fire on the security forces, leading to an encounter. An army personnel was injured in the exchange.
