Tamannaah Bhatia has recently voiced her support for Karan Johar, praising him for his contribution to promoting individuals from outside the traditional Bollywood circle. Bhatia emphasized that Johar's efforts in providing opportunities to those without established industry connections often go unacknowledged.

Johar himself has addressed the "career-destroyer" tag and accusations of nepotism, stating that he has launched numerous outsiders. He pointed to examples such as Adarsh Gourav, who started with Johar's production house in "My Name is Khan," and was later entrusted with a lead role in a 52 crore film. Johar has expressed frustration that his efforts to nurture talent from outside the industry are frequently overlooked, while he is criticized for launching "nepo-kids". He argues that the success of a film is not solely dependent on the star, but also on the contributions of the many technicians, designers, and creatives involved.

Bhatia's commendation comes at a time when Johar is producing "Daring Partners," a series in which she stars alongside Diana Penty. Bhatia has expressed her excitement about the project and thanked Johar for supporting content that showcases strong, independent women. "Daring Partners" tells the story of two best friends who start an alcohol company and challenge traditional norms in a male-dominated industry. The series is directed by Archit Kumar and Nishant Naik, and written by Nandini Gupta, Mithun Gangopadhyay, and Aarsh Vora. Jaaved Jaaferi also stars in the series.

Beyond "Daring Partners," Tamannaah Bhatia has several other projects in the works, including "Odela 2" in Telugu, "Vedaa" in Hindi, and "Aranmanai 4" in Tamil. In "Do You Wanna Partner," Bhatia and Penty play two friends who launch a craft beer brand. They create a fictitious male partner to overcome gender bias in the business world.
