Bollywood Music Project 2025: Stellar Lineup Featuring Shankar Mahadevan and Other Music Maestros Set to Headline.

Mumbai is gearing up to host the eighth edition of the Bollywood Music Project (BMP) at Jio World Garden on October 4–5, 2025. Touted as Asia's largest Bollywood music festival, the event promises a non-stop, genre-spanning musical journey delivered by over 30 iconic and emerging artists.

The festival is a collaboration between EVA Live and TM Ventures, with YES BANK as the title sponsor. The theme for this year is "All The Feels, All The Hits", celebrating Bollywood's rich musical legacy and its vibrant future. The festival aims to connect people of all generations through the emotions and diversity of Bollywood music.

Day one will feature Shankar Mahadevan & Friends headlining with a three-hour set. Shankar Mahadevan, supported by Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa, are expected to perform evergreen hits such as 'Dil Chahta Hai', 'Rock On', 'Kal Ho Na Ho', 'Tere Naina', and 'O Rangrez'. Farhan Akhtar and Shaan will revisit chartbusters including 'Senorita', 'Socha Hain', 'Pichle Saat Dino Mein', 'Toh Zinda Ho Tum', 'Gallan Goodiyaan', 'You're My Love', 'Dus Bahane', 'Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe', 'Chaand Sifaarish', and 'Jab Se Tere Naina'. Percussion maestro Sivamani will also thrill the audience with a fusion of konnakol, tribal rhythms, and jazz. Rising talents Siddharth and Shivam Mahadevan will layer contemporary ghazals and devotional tracks over electronic beats. Anu Malik will breathe new life into '90s Bollywood classics such as 'Ek Garam Chai Ki Pyali Ho' and 'Uchi Hai Building', and Baba Sehgal will fire up the crowd with his signature Bollywood rap, including 'Thanda Thanda Pani'. Kunal Ganjawala, Avinash Gupta, Roohaniyat (Shaarib and Toshi), and Abhijeet Sawant will further enrich the evening with soulful and pop-rock performances.

Day two will feature composer duo Salim–Sulaiman Merchant delivering hits such as 'Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai' and 'Chak De India'. Tanishk Bagchi, with Zarah S Khan and Asees Kaur, will electrify the stage with reimagined dance anthems, while Usha Uthup will add jazz-disco flair. Bismil will debut a Sufi-rock fusion set, and Hargun Kaur will mesmerize with Punjabi Sufi-folk backed by tabla. Other noteworthy performers include Kabir Singh, Abhay Jodhpurkar, Aflatunes, Rakesh Maini, Simran Choudhary, Farhad Bhiwandiwala, Rishabh Chaturvedi, Pawandeep Rajan, and Khushboo Grewal.

Beyond the live performances, attendees can anticipate exclusive brand activations, thoughtfully curated food and beverage options, engaging art installations, a vibrant flea market, and dedicated adventure and experiential zones designed to elevate the comprehensive weekend experience.
