Shah Rukh Khan's historic debut at the Met Gala 2025 has been met with widespread admiration, including a delightful tribute from Amul India. The Bollywood superstar, who became the first Indian male actor to grace the Met Gala carpet, was celebrated by the iconic dairy brand with a witty and creative ad.

Amul's signature topical ad featured a cartoon version of SRK in his Met Gala attire, complete with his Bengal Tiger Cane and a slice of buttered bread. The tagline read, "India's Biggest GalaKaar!" a clever play on words that combines "Gala" with "Kalakaar," the Hindi word for artist. The ad also included the line "Always in fashion," celebrating SRK's timeless charisma and Amul's ever-relevant wit. Amul shared the artwork on Instagram with the caption: "#Amul Topical: Shahrukh Khan attends the world's most prestigious and glamorous fashion event!".

For his Met Gala debut, Shah Rukh Khan wore a custom-made outfit by Sabyasachi. The ensemble featured a floor-length coat crafted from luxurious Tasmanian superfine wool, paired with superfine wool trousers. The coat was detailed with monogrammed Japanese horn buttons. He accessorized with a pleated satin kamarbandh, multi-layered jewelry, cool black shades, and chunky silver rings. A signature 'K' necklace, symbolizing his "King" status, added a personal touch. The Bengal Tiger Head Cane, crafted in 18k gold with tourmalines, sapphires, and diamonds, completed his regal look.

SRK's appearance at the Met Gala generated immense buzz among his fans in India and across the globe. Many were amused by the fact that he had to introduce himself to the Western media. Speaking to TIME about his appearance, SRK said, "It's not just simple entertainment. I am a memory from home, though I am not a memory. The diaspora made me the star I am. It is important to represent my countrymen and people. India is taking a stand in a lot of things, and it's important to have our presence felt".

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is currently working on Siddharth Anand's film "King," in which he will star alongside his daughter Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan.
