A 17-year-old boy in Gurugram tragically died by suicide after being upset about his Class 12th board exam results. The incident occurred on Wednesday in the Tata Primanti society located in Sector 72.
The boy, identified as Shaurya Sandilya, jumped from the 15th floor of the building. According to police reports, Shaurya was disheartened after scoring 75% on his CBSE exams, as he had expected to achieve 90%. Shaurya was a student at a private school in Sector 49.
Authorities were alerted to the incident after locals heard the sound of Shaurya's fall. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police have stated that there was no parental pressure on Shaurya regarding his academic performance. At the time of the incident, Shaurya's father was at work, and his mother was at home.
