As of today, June 12, 2025, Suga is the only BTS member still serving his mandatory military duty. While Jin and J-Hope have already completed their service, and RM and V were discharged on June 10, followed by Jimin and Jungkook on June 11, the BTS ARMY is eagerly awaiting Suga's return.

Suga, whose real name is Min Yoongi, began his military service on September 22, 2023. Unlike the other members who served active duty, Suga was assigned to public service due to a past shoulder injury. As a public service worker, his service duration is similar to that of active-duty soldiers.

His discharge date is set for June 21, 2025. This date marks the completion of his mandatory service period, and it will signify a momentous occasion for both Suga and the BTS ARMY. With his discharge, all seven members of BTS will have fulfilled their military obligations, paving the way for a full group reunion and potential future activities.

The return of all seven members is especially significant considering BTS's upcoming 12th anniversary. The group's agency, Hybe, has shown their support by displaying the official logos of BTS and ARMY at their headquarters in Seoul, along with the phrase "We are back," as a part of the celebrations, which will continue through June 29. In addition, the 2025 BTS Festa will be held from June 13-14 at the Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do Province. J-Hope revealed that he will perform at BTS Festa 2025 celebrations on June 13 and 14 at Goyang Stadium. He expressed his excitement about the FESTA.

The agency has asked fans not to visit the discharge locations for safety reasons, as overcrowding can pose risks, and these days are reserved for military personnel. Instead, they encouraged fans to convey their support and encouragement in their hearts.

While no specific plans for Suga's post-discharge activities have been officially announced, anticipation is high. RM expressed his eagerness to perform and work on a new album. As J-Hope mentioned, the members are looking forward to reuniting and showcasing their individual experiences as a team.
