The upcoming Bollywood film "Don 3" has been a subject of much speculation and excitement, especially concerning its female lead. After Kiara Advani's departure from the project, reportedly due to her pregnancy, rumors have been swirling about who would step into the coveted role. Recent buzz suggests that Kriti Sanon might be the one to fill those shoes, with her name now strongly linked to the film.

Kiara Advani's exit from "Don 3" was confirmed earlier this year, with reports citing her decision to prioritize her personal life and impending motherhood. This opened up the opportunity for another actress to star opposite Ranveer Singh, who is taking over the iconic role of Don from Shah Rukh Khan. The news of Ranveer Singh stepping into SRK's shoes has already created quite a stir, and the casting of the female lead is adding fuel to the anticipation.

Several names were considered for the part, including Sharvari Wagh. However, Kriti Sanon seems to be the frontrunner at this point. Sources indicate that Kriti Sanon has, in principle, agreed to join the cast of "Don 3." Reports suggest that she is likely to sign the official paperwork soon.

Kriti Sanon's potential casting has generated considerable buzz, particularly after she was spotted visiting Farhan Akhtar's office in Mumbai. This visit further fueled speculation that she is indeed in talks for the role. A video of Kriti leaving Akhtar's office has been circulating online, with fans and media outlets alike interpreting it as a strong hint that she is on board.

According to reports, Farhan Akhtar and Excel Entertainment were seeking an experienced actress with a notable screen presence to play Roma, and Kriti Sanon fits the bill perfectly. She reportedly has the aura required to portray the character and is enthusiastic about signing on.

"Don 3" is expected to commence shooting in September 2025, with Vikrant Massey reportedly playing a significant role as the antagonist. The film is set to be shot extensively in Europe, with locations already finalized. The pre-production work is underway. Before joining the "Don 3" schedule, Kriti Sanon is expected to wrap up her ongoing commitments, including Aanand L Rai's "Tere Ishk Mein" and Dinesh Vijan's "Cocktail 2".

The original "Don" film was written by Salim-Javed and starred Amitabh Bachchan. Farhan Akhtar later revived the franchise with Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. With Ranveer Singh now taking on the mantle, "Don 3" aims to bring a fresh and contemporary feel to the classic series. The film is slated for release in 2026 and is one of the highly anticipated movies.
