The much-anticipated film "Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan," starring Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor, has amplified the buzz surrounding its release with the launch of its title track. The song, also titled "Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan," beautifully encapsulates the core themes of longing, vulnerability, and the complexities of love that the film explores. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on July 11, 2025.

The title track, sung by Jubin Nautiyal with music and lyrics by Vishal Mishra, serves as an early glimpse into the emotional landscape of the film. The song has already resonated deeply with viewers, many of whom are praising its lyrical depth and emotional resonance, even calling it a potential heartbreak anthem. The music and lyrics are by Kaushal Kishore & Vishal Mishra.

The visuals accompanying the song introduce viewers to Vikrant and Shanaya's characters navigating a relationship filled with unspoken emotions and uncertainties. Their interactions depict a sense of being caught between connection and confusion, hinting at unresolved tension and potential betrayal. The film seems poised to delve into a modern love story defined by miscommunication, personal struggles, and intense internal conflicts.

Notably, "Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan" marks Shanaya Kapoor's Bollywood debut, adding another layer of anticipation to the project. The pairing of Massey, recognized for his nuanced and grounded performances, with Kapoor's fresh energy creates an intriguing dynamic that has captured the attention of audiences.

Initial reactions to the recently launched song "Nazara" have been positive, with particular praise directed towards Kapoor's performance. "Nazara," sung by Vishal Mishra, was released on June 11, 2025. The 2 minute and 57 second music video opens with Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor's characters enjoying a picturesque snow-filled destination. Both of them are visually impaired characters and explore their love that transcends sight. They share a romantic kiss, roam around different places together. But whether their love will be fulfilled remains to be seen when the movie releases in theaters.

The film is inspired by Ruskin Bond's short story "The Eyes Have It". The teaser shows Vikrant and Shanaya holding each other, while their eyes are covered with a cloth. They fall in love with each other and overcome the joys and complexities of modern love, and prove that love does not need to have sight, but the feeling is necessary.

Produced by Zee Studios and Mini Films, with Mansi Bagla, Varun Bagla, and Open Window Films at the helm, "Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan" is directed by Santosh Singh, with Mansi Bagla leading the concept and writing. As the release date approaches, the title track has successfully heightened anticipation for a romantic drama that promises to explore the intricacies of love and longing in a fresh and compelling manner.
