Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra is recovering well after a recent hospital stay, bringing immense relief to his family and fans. The 89-year-old actor, who was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital due to breathlessness, has been discharged and is now recuperating at his home under medical supervision.

The news of his improving health has brought immense joy to his wife, Hema Malini, and their family, who are now enthusiastically planning a grand celebration for his upcoming 90th birthday on December 8.

Hema Malini expressed her relief and gratitude, stating that the past few days had been emotionally challenging for the family. She acknowledged the sleepless nights and the concern for Dharmendra's well-being, but also conveyed her happiness that he is back home surrounded by loved ones. "It has not been an easy time for me. Dharamji's health is a matter of great concern for us. His children are sleepless. I can't afford to be weak, too many responsibilities. But yes, I am happy he's back home," she shared.

Adding to the positive updates, Esha Deol, Dharmendra's daughter, also addressed recent rumors regarding her father's health. She clarified that her father is stable and recovering, urging the media and fans to respect their family's privacy during this time.

Dr. Pratit Samdani, who has been overseeing Dharmendra's treatment, confirmed that the actor was discharged on Wednesday morning and will continue his recovery process at home. He also requested the public to refrain from spreading false news and instead, pray for his speedy recovery so that he can celebrate his next birthday with pride.

Adding to the chorus of relief, filmmaker Guddu Dhanoa, a close family friend, visited Dharmendra at his residence and shared a positive health update, stating, "He (Dharmendra) is improving. He is well now".

The Deol family has requested privacy during this time, and many members of the film fraternity have shown their support, with visitors like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
