Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, December 26, 2025 – Actress and politician Kangana Ranaut continued her pilgrimage to the twelve Jyotirlingas with a visit to the Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga temple today. This visit follows her recent prayers at the Vaidyanath Jyotirlinga and Vasuki Dham, marking the completion of her ninth Jyotirlinga darshan. Ranaut aims to complete the darshan of all twelve Jyotirlingas before the end of December.

Kangana Ranaut, who represents Mandi in Himachal Pradesh as a Member of Parliament, arrived at the Grishneshwar temple in Verul, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, in the afternoon. She performed a traditional Abhishek and Maha Pooja, guided by the head priest Paresh Pathak and his team. She was accompanied by her brother. The actress was seen deeply immersed in the serene and devotional atmosphere of the temple.

"Today I visited Girishneshwar Jyotirlinga. There are many Jyotirlingas that I have visited 2-4 times, but it is the only one in Maharashtra, my home, that I had the good fortune to have darshan of Baba Girishneshwar now," Kangana shared on her Instagram. She further added, "There is no doubt that you can only go for darshan when Mahadev calls. HAR HAR MAHADEV".

News of Kangana's visit spread quickly, attracting a large crowd of devotees and tourists eager to catch a glimpse of the actress and take selfies with her. Despite the Christmas holiday rush, the police efficiently managed the enthusiastic crowd.

The Grishneshwar Temple Trust felicitated Kangana Ranaut after her darshan. Trustee Rajendra Kaushike presented her with a memento on behalf of the trust. Chairman Kunal Dandge, Executive Trustee Yogesh Topre, Sanjay Vaidya, Milind Shewale, Umesh Shastri, and other officials were present during the felicitation.

Prior to visiting Grishneshwar, Kangana shared glimpses of her visit to Vaidyanath Jyotirlinga and Vasuki Dham on Instagram, stating, "Aaj Vaidyanath Jyotirlinga aur Vasuki Dham ke darshan kiye, this is my 9th jyotirlinga darshan 3 more to go, determined to complete all 12 before December ends". In November, she visited the Somnath Temple and participated in the Aarti.
