The 83rd Golden Globe Awards took place Sunday night, honoring the best in film and television. Hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser for the second consecutive year, the ceremony was broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

One of the night's early and most celebrated wins went to Timothée Chalamet, who snagged his first Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for his performance in "Marty Supreme". The film, directed by Josh Safdie, sees Chalamet portraying Marty Mauser, a tenacious and deeply flawed young New Yorker clawing his way to table tennis superstardom in the 1950s.

Chalamet, a four-time nominee, expressed his gratitude while accepting the award, thanking Safdie, the cast, his parents, and his partner, Kylie Jenner. Other notable winners of the night included Teyana Taylor, who won Best Supporting Actress for "One Battle After Another". Paul Thomas Anderson took home awards for Best Director and Best Screenplay for "One Battle After Another". Rose Byrne won Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for "If I Had Legs I'd Kick You". Owen Cooper, the 16-year-old star of "Adolescence," became the youngest ever to win Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role on Television. "Adolescence" also secured the award for Best Television Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television. KPop Demon Hunters won Best Original Song for "Golden". Jean Smart won Best Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for "Hacks". Rhea Seehorn won Best Performance By A Female Actor In A Television Series for Pluribus.

The Golden Globes also honored Helen Mirren with the Cecil B. DeMille Award and Sarah Jessica Parker with the Carol Burnett Award. The awards recognized outstanding achievements in both film and television, including a new category for Best Podcast, marking a continued evolution of the ceremony.

"One Battle After Another" led the film nominations with nine nods, while "The White Lotus" dominated the television categories with six nominations.
