Suhana Khan, daughter of Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, acknowledges that her parents remain the ultimate authority in her life, especially concerning important decisions about her career. In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar India, the actress revealed that despite her growing confidence and eagerness to explore different paths in the film industry, she still seeks her parents' guidance and values their input. "I have to ask my parents. They get the final say," Suhana stated, emphasizing the importance of their advice as she navigates her early years in cinema.

Suhana admits that when making decisions, she usually trusts her instincts first, then uses logic, but often overthinks things. It's during these moments of uncertainty that she turns to her parents, Shah Rukh and Gauri, for support. She considers them her closest confidants and values their contrasting perspectives. Suhana describes her father's advice as expansive, layered, and philosophical, while her mother offers direct, practical guidance. According to Suhana, Shah Rukh tends to provide broad advice, framing situations with deeper observations about life, while Gauri is more straightforward, offering clarity and cutting through the noise. Suhana made her acting debut in the 2023 film "The Archies," a teen musical directed by Zoya Akhtar. The film, an Indian adaptation of the popular Archie Comics, was set in 1964 in a fictional hill station called Riverdale, within an Anglo-Indian community. She is now preparing for her big-screen debut in "King," where she will star alongside her father, Shah Rukh Khan. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand and is expected to be released later this year.
