Cristiano Ronaldo has etched his name further into the history books of Al-Nassr, surpassing Morocco international Abderrazak Hamdallah to become the club's all-time leading foreign scorer. The Portuguese superstar achieved this feat during Al-Nassr's recent 2-1 victory over Damac in the Saudi Pro League.
Ronaldo's goal against Damac was his 116th for the Riyadh-based club, edging him past Hamdallah's previous record of 115 goals. Hamdallah, who played for Al-Nassr from 2018 to 2021 and currently plays for Al-Shabab, led the team to three major titles, including the Saudi Pro League title in 2018-19. With this achievement, Ronaldo now holds the distinction of being the highest-scoring foreigner in Al-Nassr's history. Overall, he is the third-highest scorer in the club's history, behind Majed Abdullah (259 goals) and Mohammed Al Sahlawi (131 goals).
The 40-year-old Ronaldo is still chasing milestones. Since his Saudi Pro League debut in January 2023, he has scored 90 league goals in 93 appearances. He also now has 960 career goals and is approaching the 1,000-goal mark. In the Saudi top-flight, he leads the goalscoring charts with 16 goals in 16 appearances.
Ronaldo's influence extends beyond club level. He holds the record for most international goals with 143 goals in 226 appearances for Portugal. He is also the all-time leading goalscorer in the Champions League (140 goals) and European Championship (14 goals).
Al-Nassr currently sits second in the Saudi League standings with 37 points from 16 matches, four points behind Al Hilal.
