Neelam Giri, the Bhojpuri actress and famed contestant from Bigg Boss 19, has officially confirmed her participation in the upcoming reality show "The 50". The show is set to premiere on February 1, 2026, on Colors TV and JioHotstar.
Giri shared her excitement through an Instagram post, including a video and a heartfelt note expressing her enthusiasm for this new chapter. She stated, "I'm really happy to be back with JioHotstar and Colors after Bigg Boss 19, but this time on a completely new reality show, The 50. I had a great journey inside the Bigg Boss house, and I'm excited to start something new". She also acknowledged the audience's love and support, referencing memorable moments from Bigg Boss 19, and expressed her hope to create new, unforgettable moments on "The 50". "I'm ready for the challenge, excited for the competition, and will give it my best on The 50," she added.
"The 50" is a Hindi adaptation of the French reality show "Les Cinquante". Hosted by Farah Khan, the show will feature 50 celebrities, including TV personalities, influencers, and Bhojpuri stars, all competing for a grand prize of ₹50 lakh. The show promises a mix of strategy, alliances, and unexpected twists, set within a palace-themed environment. Viewers can also participate by betting on their favorite contestants.
Giri, a well-known figure in the Bhojpuri film industry, gained widespread recognition for her appearance on Bigg Boss 19. Her genuine and caring personality resonated with viewers.
