The Indian Air Force's (IAF) Sarang helicopter display team is set to perform at the Singapore Airshow 2026, joining a line-up of renowned international aerobatic teams. The airshow will be held at the Changi Exhibition Centre from February 3rd to 8th.
The Sarang team, known for its precision flying and breathtaking maneuvers, will showcase its skills alongside other military aerobatic teams. This year's event promises a thrilling mix of modern combat and commercial aircraft, offering aviation enthusiasts a spectacular display of aerial capabilities.
In addition to the Sarang team, the Singapore Airshow 2026 will feature aerial displays from several other air forces, including the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) with its Integrated Display Team, which includes the F-16C fighter jet and the AH-64D Apache attack helicopter. The Royal Malaysian Air Force's Sukhoi Su-30MKM fighter jet, a veteran of the 2016 and 2018 editions, will also be returning. The Indonesian Air Force's Jupiter aerobatic team and the People's Liberation Army Air Force's Bayi aerobatic team are also slated to perform. Making its debut at the Singapore Airshow is the Royal Australian Air Force's F-35A Lightning II, a fifth-generation fighter aircraft.
Commercial aviation will also be represented, with Airbus showcasing its A350-1000 and Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) presenting its C919 narrow-body airliner. According to the organiser Experia, over 35 aircraft will be on static display.
Flying displays are scheduled daily, with double shows on February 7th and 8th. However, the organiser reserves the right to alter the timings or cancel the flying display due to bad weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances without prior notice.
