Alan Yu Menglong, Beloved Chinese Actor, Passes Away at 37 Following Tragic Fall; Fans Mourn.

Chinese actor Alan 'Yu' Menglong has died at the age of 37 after a fall from a building in Beijing. The news was confirmed by his management studio on Weibo, stating, "With unbearable sorrow, we announce that our beloved Menglong fell to his death on Sept 11. Police have ruled out any criminality. We hope he rests in peace and his loved ones remain strong".

Reports indicate that the incident occurred in the early hours of September 11th. Yu Menglong had been dining with friends at a residence the previous night and retired to a bedroom to sleep around 2 a.m., locking the door behind him. Several hours later, his friends discovered his absence and subsequently found him. A local resident walking a dog reportedly alerted the authorities after discovering his body around 6 a.m.. Law enforcement officials have determined that there was no criminal motive involved in the incident. The exact cause of the fall remains under investigation.

Yu Menglong was born in Urumqi, Xinjiang, in 1988. He was a multifaceted talent, working as an actor, singer, and MV director. He gained recognition after participating in the Chinese singing contest "Super Boy" in 2013. He is known for his roles in popular dramas such as "Go Princess Go," "Eternal Love," and "The Moon Brightens for You". In 2019, he received the breakthrough actor of the year award at the Golden Bud Network Film and Television Festival for the TV series Xin bai niang zi chuan qi. He also received the 2018 Jury Award for newcomer of the year at the Television Series of China Quality Ceremony.

The news of Yu Menglong's death has prompted an outpouring of grief and tributes from fans, friends, and colleagues in the entertainment industry. Many have taken to social media platforms like Weibo, X, and Reddit to express their condolences and share memories of the actor. One fan wrote, "RIP.
