The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a sharp attack on Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party, alleging a connection with "anti-India" forces during his recent visit to Germany. The BJP's accusations center around Gandhi's participation in the "Global Progressive Alliance" and remarks made during his engagements in Berlin and Munich.

BJP leaders have directly accused Rahul Gandhi of conspiring against the country by collaborating with those they deem "enemies of India". They claim that Gandhi's actions, including meeting with individuals and organizations linked to George Soros, are part of a larger "anti-India global conspiracy".

The BJP's spokesperson, Gaurav Bhatia, displayed a picture of Gandhi with Cornelia Woll, the president and professor at Hertie School in Berlin, claiming it was proof of Gandhi meeting "anti-India forces in Germany". Bhatia alleged that Woll is a trustee of the Central European University, which is funded by Soros' Open Society Foundation.

Adding fuel to the fire, BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi referenced Sam Pitroda's remarks regarding Rahul Gandhi's meeting with the Global Progressive Alliance. The BJP alleges that this alliance propagates "anti-India" narratives and draws connections between George Soros and the Congress party. Trivedi questioned whether the Congress party has become a member of an "anti-India global conspiracy" and a "nefarious nexus of anti-India global forces".

The BJP has also criticized Rahul Gandhi's statements concerning the decline of manufacturing in India. Gandhi argued that India needs to "produce more" and build meaningful manufacturing ecosystems to accelerate growth and create high-quality jobs. BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari refuted these claims, asserting that India has seen significant growth in manufacturing.

Furthermore, the BJP has accused Rahul Gandhi of defaming India's institutions and democracy during his overseas visit. They have particularly taken issue with his allegations of "vote theft" and his criticism of the government's handling of investigating agencies. BJP leaders argue that Gandhi is undermining India's democratic institutions on foreign soil and attempting to damage India's image internationally.

In response to the BJP's allegations, the Congress party has maintained that it is not a crime to go abroad and that Rahul Gandhi's engagements are aimed at fostering dialogue and understanding. However, the BJP remains steadfast in its criticism, alleging that Rahul Gandhi's actions and associations are detrimental to India's interests and sovereignty. The party questioned the intent behind Gandhi's foreign visits, especially during parliamentary sessions, suggesting a pattern of meeting with "enemies of India".
