Madhya Pradesh ‘Neta’ Embroiled in Controversy Amidst Rape Allegations

In another case from January 2025, a BJP leader in Sidhi, Ajitpal Singh Chauhan, was arrested for allegedly raping a party colleague, filming the act, and then blackmailing her. He was subsequently expelled from the BJP. Chauhan denied the charges, claiming a political conspiracy.
