Mumbai, January 14, 2026 - Actress Aditi Rao Hydari has lauded the film Haq, calling it a "gem" in a recent social media post. The film, directed by Suparn Verma and starring Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi, has been receiving positive responses since its release on Netflix.

Hydari shared her review on Instagram, expressing that she has been deeply moved by the film and unable to stop thinking about it since watching it a week ago. She praised the film's direction, acting, and writing, calling it a beautifully crafted cinematic experience. She further emphasized that Haq is an important story told with dignity, vulnerability, strength, grace, and rage. Hydari also lauded the performances of Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi, as well as the work of director Suparn Verma and writer Greshunath.

"It's been a week since I watched Haq And I haven't stopped thinking about it," Hydari wrote on her Instagram story. "A film so beautifully crafted, directed, acted, written. An important story, told with dignity, vulnerability, strength, grace and rage all at once. It felt so real, so layered". She also added, "This one is a gem, one that will shine forever".

Ankita Lokhande, who is the producer of Haq, responded to Aditi Rao Hydari's praise with gratitude. Lokhande re-shared Hydari's Instagram story and wrote, "Thank you, Aditi (two red hearts)".

Director Suparn Verma has also spoken about the overwhelming response to Haq since its release. He mentioned that the film is trending in various countries and that he has been receiving numerous messages and calls from viewers around the world. He told the Free Press Journal that he knew that once the movie was released on OTT platforms it would be a success, but he didn't realize how big of a success it would be.

Haq, produced by Junglee Pictures, is available for streaming on Netflix. The legal drama features Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi in leading roles. The positive reviews and audience reception indicate a promising run for the film on the OTT platform.
