The K-pop supergroup BTS has officially announced their highly anticipated comeback, slated for 2026, which includes a new album and a world tour. This marks their first group activity since their hiatus in 2022, during which members fulfilled their mandatory military service and pursued solo projects.
The group's fifth studio album is set to release on March 20, 2026. The members have been deeply involved in the creation of the album, instilling their own thoughts and colors while musically expressing the emotions and struggles they have experienced along their journey. The album will feature 14 tracks packed with honest stories that BTS wants to share with their fans, ARMY. Pre-orders for the album begin on January 16, 2026.
Following the album release, BTS will embark on a world tour spanning 2026 and 2027, encompassing 79 shows across 34 regions. The tour will kick off in Goyang, South Korea, with three shows on April 9, 11 and 12, 2026. The tour includes stops in Asia, North America, South America, Australia, and Europe. Confirmed cities include Tokyo, Tampa, El Paso, Mexico City, Stanford, Las Vegas, Busan, Madrid, Brussels, London, Munich, Paris, East Rutherford, Foxborough, Baltimore, Arlington, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, Bogotá, Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, Melbourne, Sydney, Hong Kong and Manila.
The tour will feature a 360-degree, in-the-round stage design, creating an immersive experience for the audience and allowing for increased capacity at each venue. Ticket sales will begin with a presale for ARMY Membership holders on January 22 and 23, followed by a general sale on January 24.
While the initial list of tour dates has been released, additional dates are expected to be announced in phases, including dates in Japan, the Middle East and other regions in 2027.
The question on every Indian ARMY's mind: Is India on the list? As of now, India is not included in the announced tour dates. However, BigHit Music has confirmed that the current schedule is just the beginning, leaving the door open for more global destinations to be added.
