PropEquity and Cambridge Unite to Launch India's Premier Real Estate School: A Landmark Collaboration.

PropEquity, a leading Indian real estate data and analytics platform, is partnering with the Department of Land Economy at the University of Cambridge to establish India's first dedicated real estate school. This collaboration aims to enhance educational opportunities and cultivate essential skills within India's real estate sector.

The partnership will involve P E Analytics Ltd, PropEquity's parent company, in developing a real estate educational program with technical assistance and curriculum support from the University of Cambridge. The collaboration aims to create a platform for cutting-edge research in the real estate domain, including the development of AI-led predictive models. PropEquity is also developing an AI conversational Chat GPT equivalent for the Real Estate Industry, with plans to launch it in India and then expand globally.

The Department of Land Economy at the University of Cambridge has experience in providing education for professionals through its MSt degrees in Real Estate and Climate, Environmental and Urban Policy. The partnership with PropEquity is part of the Department's 'Global Land Economy' initiative, which focuses on international educational and research collaborations.

Samir Jasuja at PropEquity stated that the collaboration would benefit from Cambridge's expertise in curriculum design and academic frameworks. PropEquity is known as a subscription-based real estate data and analytics platform providing real-time insights into the Indian real estate market. Over the past 18 years, they have built a client base of over 300 institutional investors, including banks, NBFCs, private equity funds, and leading developers.

The Department of Land Economy is part of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Cambridge. The department offers undergraduate and postgraduate education in law, economics, and environmental policy and has a strong reputation for research. In the latest research excellence framework, 67% of the work in Land Economy's joint submission with the Department of Architecture was rated as 'world leading'.
