Kerala Blasters Secure French Forward Kevin Yoke for ISL 2025-26 Season Through Free Transfer Agreement

Kerala Blasters have bolstered their attacking options for the upcoming Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 season by signing French striker Kevin Yoke on a free transfer. The 29-year-old, who can play in multiple advanced positions, joins the Blasters to provide more firepower in the final third.

Yoke, born on June 23, 1996, in Clamart, France, most recently played for PAE Chania and was without a club since January 1, 2026. He has a market value of €132k. Standing at 1.82m tall, Yoke primarily plays as a left winger but is also comfortable on the right wing.

Throughout his career, Yoke has played for several clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain B, Le Mans FC, Apollon Larissa, AO Trikala, and Levadiakos. In the 2019-2020 season, while with Paris Saint-Germain FC II, he played 12 matches, scoring 3 goals and providing 6 assists. He has also featured in Super League 2, Championnat National, and Coupe de France.

The Kerala Blasters are looking to improve on their performance in the 2024-25 season, where they failed to qualify for the ISL playoffs. The club has a new head coach, David Català, and has made several changes to the squad. Besides Yoke, they have also signed other players, including midfielder Marlon Roos-Trujillo.

Under Català, the Blasters began their 2025–26 AIFF Super Cup campaign strongly, securing victories against Rajasthan United and Sporting Club Delhi. New Spanish forward Koldo Obieta has also made a strong impression, scoring in both matches.

The current Kerala Blasters squad includes goalkeepers Sachin Suresh, Nora Fernandes and Arsh Shaikh. The defense features players like Hormipam Ruivah, Bikash Yumnam and Muhammed Saheef. Midfield options include Vibin Mohanan, Danish Farooq and Freddy Lallawmawma. Other foreign players in the squad include Noah Sadaoui, Tiago Alves, Dusan Lagator and Juan Rodríguez.

Yoke's addition is expected to provide Català with more tactical flexibility and strengthen the Blasters' attacking prowess for the upcoming ISL season. His experience playing in different leagues across Europe could prove valuable as Kerala Blasters aim to compete for the ISL title.
