Ranveer Allahbadia Reveals Shiamak Davar's Warning: Success Breeds Jealousy and the 'Evil Eye'.

Ranveer Allahbadia, the YouTuber and podcaster, has revealed that choreographer Shiamak Davar once warned him about a potential downfall, attributing it to "nazar" or the evil eye. Allahbadia shared this experience during a conversation with actress Amrita Rao on his YouTube channel.

According to Allahbadia, he met Davar at an event in 2024. Davar, upon seeing him, remarked that there was a lot of "nazar" around him. He looked at Allahbadia with intensity and pity, also cautioning him to be careful regarding his back and knees, and about the jealousy surrounding him. Allahbadia, who was experiencing a successful phase in his life at the time, was taken aback by Davar's observation. Reflecting on the incident, Allahbadia wondered if Davar was intuitive, psychic, or simply drawing from his extensive experience.

Allahbadia faced a significant setback earlier this year when he was "cancelled" following an appearance on Samay Raina's show "India's Got Latent". A joke he made on the show led to widespread criticism and legal complaints. Mumbai police even summoned Allahbadia and Raina for an inquiry into the matter. Following the controversy, singer B Praak cancelled his scheduled appearance on Allahbadia's podcast, condemning the podcaster's comments.

Allahbadia now believes that these events may have been linked to the "nazar" Davar had sensed. He now visits a temple weekly to get the "evil eye curse removed". He claims that he feels a significant difference, both physically and mentally, since starting this practice. Allahbadia also expressed his belief in "nazar accumulation," suggesting that one can physically feel its effects and even sense it in others.

Amrita Rao, who was part of the YouTube conversation, also shared a similar experience with Shiamak Davar, indicating that Davar had also told her the same thing.
