Kris Marszalek, the co-founder and CEO of Crypto.com, has launched a new AI platform called ai.com, introducing autonomous AI agents to the consumer market. The platform, which officially launches on February 8, 2026, alongside a commercial premiere during Super Bowl LX on NBC, allows users to create personal AI agents in under a minute without requiring any coding.
These AI agents are designed to go beyond simple question answering; they can execute tasks across various applications, organize work, send messages, build projects, and even develop new capabilities as needed. The aim is to shift AI from being merely conversational to being actionable, enabling users to delegate real-world tasks to their AI counterparts.
Marszalek envisions a future where a decentralized network of billions of AI agents can self-improve and share these improvements, leading to a rapid expansion of agentic capabilities and accelerating the arrival of artificial general intelligence (AGI). He aims to mainstream AI agents and AGI, mirroring his approach to driving mass adoption of cryptocurrency with Crypto.com. Marszalek will continue to serve as CEO for both ai.com and Crypto.com.
With ai.com, users can quickly generate a private, personal AI agent designed to operate on their behalf. These agents can perform various actions, such as trading stocks, automating workflows, managing calendars, and updating online profiles, all while remaining private, permission-based, and fully under the user's control. User agents operate in a secure environment where data is segregated and encrypted with user-specific keys, and agents are restricted to the user's capability limits.
A key differentiating feature of ai.com's agents is their ability to autonomously develop missing features and capabilities to complete real-world tasks. These enhancements are then shared across the network, increasing the utility of each agent for all ai.com users.
Since acquiring the ai.com domain in 2025, in what is believed to be the largest domain purchase in history, Marszalek has been building the AI-dedicated platform and team. The launch of ai.com signals a move towards a future where AI agents play a more active role in daily life, helping individuals manage tasks and automate workflows.
While the platform promises increased autonomy, it also faces scrutiny regarding privacy and regulatory compliance, especially in financial transactions. Ai.com offers a free starting point with subscription options available for advanced features, marking a shift in consumer AI from simple interaction to task execution.
In November 2024, Marszalek hinted at the transformative potential of AI, referring to Crypto.com's "Cortex AI" project, which aims to merge AI and cryptocurrency through autonomous AI agents. He emphasized that Cortex AI would significantly enhance the capabilities of the AI Agent SDK, making it "extremely useful for the CRONOS ecosystem".
